Photography is important for me because that captured moment takes me to places of questioning, understanding or sheer wonder.

Photography compels me to look deeper and understand life more fully; it tells the story of life at a given moment, captured to communicate that emotion - but all the time we understand that another viewer may find a different meaning.

I also find great freedom in creating abstract art. There is something very stimulating about looking at a piece and not being able to figure it out, and so then I have to look longer and deeper, and find its meaning.

I am passionate about creating art that comes from an unusual perspective, or sheer beauty, of a capture that was found in nature.
